Research and Innovation

Research and innovation activities seek to address societal challenges and be aligned with the values, needs and expectations of the general public. Therefore, through research and innovation, SUSTAIN TANZANIA works to generate evidence on the impacts of social protection, community empowerment, good governance, environment sustainability, gender equality and human rights interventions on different beneficiary groups in the community as well as strengthening the capacity of local institutions in the design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of such interventions. Further, through research, SUSTAIN TANZANIA intends to promote evolution of social policies, training and discussions around gender, social protection and rural development policies and programmes.
